How long does it take to get to Phillip Island and A Maze'N Things?

A Maze’N Things is about 1.5 hours from the Melbourne CBD with reasonable traffic, two hours in peak traffic. We are located on the main road about 6km out of Cowes.

What are your opening hours?

A Maze’N Things

Open 10am til 5pm / 7 Days a week (Last admission 3pm)

Open 9am til 6pm / Summer Long weekends, school & public holidays (Last admission 4pm)

Open 10am til 5pm / Autumn, Winter & Spring Long weekends, school & public holidays (Last admission 4pm)

*Please note there may be queues for entry, so please book online via the link in the header or arrive early to allow plenty of time for fun and adventure.

Can I book tickets?

Yes you can! You can book tickets or even purchase gift cards here.

During busy periods such as school holidays, there may still be some short wait times for entry. Our friendly team will update you should there be delays when you arrive.

Do adults have fun?

A Maze’N Things is aimed towards adults, yet children love it just as well. Kids also love watching adults making fools of themselves!

What ages do children's tickets cover?

Children 3 years and under are free. Children aged 4 to 15 years receive child prices.

Can our kids go through by themselves?

While we have an exciting fun attraction for kids, all children under the age of twelve need to go through with a paying adult as it can take up to two hours to go through Puzzle Island, Magic Manor and our Giant Maze.

Can you actually get to the yellow flag?

Many have tried and failed, but it is possible to reach the yellow flag.

Can I bring my pet along?

Unfortunately, no. Due to health & safety regulations and the safety of other attendees, pets are not permitted on the premises.

Are you pram friendly?

While we love seeing families with babies and toddlers, our attraction’s unique, hands-on design means some areas are unsuitable for prams, so we encourage you to leave them in the car.

We do have a number of small strollers available on request; please ask our staff when you arrive at Reception.

If you’re travelling with little ones, carry pouches are a great solution!

Are you wheelchair friendly?

A Maze’N Things has activities that everybody can enjoy; however, unfortunately some of our activities are not accessible for wheelchairs. Please feel free to give us call and we can discuss your needs.

How long does it take to go through?

It is a good idea to allow yourself at least two hours to enjoy our Puzzle Island, Magic Manor and Maze activities.
Our 19-hole Maxi Mini Golf takes an average of 45 minutes to complete, depending on how good your skills are!

Our Puzzle Cafe has great coffee, cold drinks and a variety of food items for you to take outside and enjoy in one of our outdoor picnic areas.
You can also visit our Retail Shop and buy a puzzle or photo as a souvenir of your A Maze’N Things visit.

What happens if we are not out before closing time?

We promise not to lock you in the maze overnight! Everyone is given plenty of warning as to our closing times.

How far is A Maze'N Things from the Penguin Parade?

It will only take you 10 minutes to get to the Penguin Parade from A Maze’N Things.

Do you have an ATM?

Sorry, we don’t have an ATM on the premises, but you can pay for admissions by EFTPOS or credit card.

If it is raining, can we still do the Maze?

Our Giant Maze is included in our Puzzle Island & Magic Manor admission. While you may choose to bypass the maze if it is raining, we have rain ponchos for sale if you’re still ready for a challenge!

How can I download my A Maze'N Things digital photo?

Thanks for purchasing a digital copy of your Shrinking Room photo!

To download your photo, please click this link – Your A Maze’N Photo – then enter the unique photo code found on your digital photo receipt (beginning with AMT) and click the “Get Photo” button.

Your photo will appear on the screen with an option to download the file or share a link. When sharing your memories on Facebook & Instagram, be sure to tag us with #amazenthings and show us how much fun you had!
